Squamish Language and Linguistics

The Squamish Language and Linguistics set contains research directly related to Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Sníchim. Because of the complexity of describing a language in its entirety, dissertations and research papers focus on a particular feature or part of the language (such as Aspect, Control, Adverbs, Stress, etc.). They often include example texts, phrases, or words in Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, provided by Elders and knowledge keepers. The majority of the items in this collection are articles, theses/dissertations, and working papers.
