Changing state in Salishan languages

The goal of this paper is to deal with the issue of changing state in Salishan languages. We investigate various mprhemes indicating beginning, middle, and end of change across Salishan languages. A particular focus is put on Interior Salish *wílx and *-ilx, which raise this important issue.
