The Story of the Sechelt Nation

Lester Peterson spent long and fascinating hours in the homes of Sechelt hereditary chiefs and carvers, learning the answers to questions which no existing books or documents had been able to tell him. He travelled up and down the coast and its inlets by boat, re-learning the geography as it was explained in Sechelt myth and legend. The result is his long-awaited history of the Sechelt Nation.
