Vancouver Island Cultural Resource Inventory, Prepared for Heritage Conservation Branch, British Columbia Ministry of Tourism and Ministry Responsible for Culture
Academic Work
The following Vancouver Island Cultural Resource Inventory was prepared jointly by the B.C. Indian Language Project and Millennia Research (with technical assistance by LGL Limited), at the request of the Heritage Conservation Branch (HCB) of the British Columbia Ministry of Tourism and Ministry Responsible for Culture. This project is a response to the recommendations of the Task Force on Culture, Recreation and Tourism which forms part of the interministry Resource Inventory Committee (RIC). One of their recommendations calls for improved coordination of inventories of land-based cultural/heritage features.
