Tommy Moses was born in Lillooet c1878. He married Rosie and his sister was Agnes Lackett-Joe. He is remembered by his family a a famous carver and jewelry maker. He would make earrings, rings and necklaces from silver coins. He carved totem poles, model canoes, and sculpted wood thunderbirds, owls, and bears - as well as the crosses for grave markers.
Ts’táselten is remembered by his descendants as a man who was a very hard cannery worker and would travel anywhere to obtain a job. He gave generously of his time and every Sunday morning he would be at St. Paul’s Church belfry to ring the bells for Sunday service.
